Trailcam Web Bear

This picture is from Peace River.

I was out photographing elk during that cold snap in Oct
and happened on to this spike elk carcass. There wasn't
much left but tracks at the scene indicated that a bear
had just left it.

Didn't see the bear so we put a remote trail cam up to
see what exactly was feeding on it.

50 minutes later this is what showed up..

Look at the claws on this bugger!!

Can't say I've seen too many with that much claw
this late in the fall.

Deer Lease For Sale

Deer Lease,

From a man in Isle of Palms, SC:

I took a lease on a piece of land where there are plenty of Deer roaming around.. I put up a stand in a nice place where several game trails cross.. BUT, due to some incurred Obstacles getting to the Stand last Saturday, I've decided to forego any more attempts at bagging a trophy deer this year .. So, if anybody want's my deer stand for the rest of the year, it's open to any one who would like to take a stab at it......

My heart can't take another day like last Saturday.

It must be something in the coal-infused water.

This is the pull off at SR 61 and Adamsdale Rd. A deer was hit there. The couch was dumped there previously. Day two the deer was on the couch. Day three the end table and lamp showed up. Day four the TV and TV stand showed up.

The Trooper had to call PENN DOT because of all the people stopping to take pictures.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE SIGN.

Super Long Poke During Rifle Season

This deer is easily over 900 yards away. After contact with the bullet, the animal dropped dead, right then and there.

Big Texas Buck

Here's a picture of the new world record whitetail. It was taken by the cousin of a co-worker's sister's, uncle's, best friend's, son-in-law's cousin. Reportedly it will score 2603-1/8 by B&C standard and was shot in West Texas on a really windy day around a curve. Supposedly, this deer had killed a Brahma bull, two Land Rovers and six Jehovah's Witnesses in the last two weeks alone. They said it was winning a fight with Bigfoot when it was shot.
